Course Description
What does school readiness really mean? How is a student ready to learn reading, written expression and math along with the necessary skills to use good executive functioning skills such as paying attention, planning and becoming organized? During this short webinar we will focus on attaining learning behavior through the support of the nervous system as we also consider aspects of the developmental hierarchy that prepare students to learn efficiently from others and their environment. Practical tips to support efficiency as we consider our role as occupational therapists in these very important skills will be discussed.

Describe three treatment strategies to use to support school readiness.
